The boss of leading construction firm Graya has been revealed as the buyer of a record-breaking $11.05m off-the-plan apartment in Brisbane.
Co-founder Rob Gray splashed the mega sum to secure the full-floor property on level four of boutique developer Molti’s Heirloom, a five-level project in sought-after Kangaroo Point.
His building company Graya has also been appointed to deliver the riverside development with construction kicking off this week.

The sale, which transacted in October, set a new Brisbane benchmark and achieved the highest rate per internal square metre for a non-penthouse apartment in the city’s history at $38,501 per square metre.
“We’re proud to be building Heirloom, but I’m equally proud to be a purchaser here,” Mr Gray said.
“When you’re this confident in a project’s quality and vision, you back it with more than just your craftsmanship – you back it with your own investment.”

“Both Molti and Graya operate in the luxury segment where craftsmanship, attention to detail and design integrity are paramount.”
Heirloom has secured $21.7m in sales since its launch, with full-floor apartments spanning 340 sqm each, and starting at $9.5m.
