NRLW star Ali Brigginshaw and her wife Kate are set to score after listing their Ipswich home for sale less than a year after purchasing it.

The couple bought the fully-renovated Queenslander at 4 Tallon St, Sadliers Crossing, for $1m in April last year and listed it for offers over $1.249m on March 17.

The Brigginshaws put their stamp on the place in that year, with a new pool and kitchen upgrades for the four-bedroom, two-bathroom house.

The four-bedroom, two bathroom home at 4 Tallon St was bought for $1m in April 2025, now seeking offers above $1.249m.

The home has high ceilings, timber floors, traditional windows, VJ walls and front and rear verandas.

The open plan living spaces flow out to the big back veranda, which overlooks the pool.

While the kitchen has been given a modern update with Macabaus natural quartzite benchtops and splashbacks, custom shaker cabinetry, quality appliances and butler’s pantry/laundry.

The main bedroom has a walk-in robe and ensuite, and two of the remaining bedrooms have built-in robes.

The home recently went through renovations across the kitchen, with a new pool having been installed at the back of the property.

Downstairs there is a double garage and ample storage space.

The home sits on a 541 sqm block with a charming white picket fence at the front and a magnesium pool with paved surround and low maintenance gardens.

Close to the heart of Ipswich and in a sought-after suburb, the home is closest to Ipswich Boys Grammar School and Blair State School, with easy access to local shops.

The home is near several other houses the Brigginshaws have owned over the past eight years, including one in the same suburb.

Ali, who led the Brisbane Broncos to a NRLW Premiership and co-captained the Australian Jillaroos and the Queensland Maroons Women’s team in 2025, and Kate, who has become a vocal advocate against online abuse and bullying, have purchased several character homes in Ipswich.

The last eight years has seen Brigginshaw move through three properties in the area, including a previous home in Sadliers Crossing.

Brigginshaw’s last home in the suburb was bought in December 2018 for $430,000, and sold in October 2022 at $740,000.

Her next home in Ipswich was bought in the same month: gaining $400,000 in value by April 2025, when it sold for $1.25m.

Kate Brigginshaw documented the renovation of their 2018 home on Instagram at the time.

“So many memories in our humble little home,” she wrote. “We sold this baby off market while Ali was overseas (don’t recommend) and waited until she arrived home so we could put the sold sticker up together.”

Ali Brigginshaw thanked her wife on her own social media feed for dealing with the stress of managing the sale on her own.

“Appreciation post for my queen, holding down the fort while I’m away,” she wrote.

“Selling our house and dealing with every problem that came out way without unloading it on me or having me worry whilst I was gone.”

The latest home is expected to gain a minimum of $250,000 in value since it was last bought in April.

NGU Real Estates Charles Kimmorley and Tuia Gregory are available for contact regarding a potential purchase.

Their latest house is being sold by agents Charles Kimmorley and Tuia Gregory of NGU Real Estate, who the Brigginshaws have worked with before.

The agents described the home in the listing as “a true turn-key residence, where all the work has already been done and the next chapter is ready to begin”.
