While mortgages and rents skyrocket and holidays become harder to afford, one Aussie family will spend an entire year living rent free and travelling the country.
Over 1.8m households were found to be grappling mortgage stress late last year, while Australia’s median rent reached a record $650 per week in January.
The prospect of airfare rises is looming for holiday planners and even for local travellers, the recent cost of fuel explosion offers a major financial hurdle.
Yet, one Aussie couple or family will spend an entire year living rent-free while travelling around the country for an entire year – should they be the recipients of a competition recently announced by BIG4 Holiday Parks.

Along the way, the winner will be tasked with capturing their journey via video, social media and editorial content.
Applications are open via BIG4’s website.
