Chris Lynn has listed his Brisbane mansion for sale.

Professional batsman Chris Lynn is quietly selling his luxe, six-bedroom house in one of Brisbane’s most sought-after suburbs just months after his Big Bash League (BBL) contract expired.

Lynn, who is the highest run-scorer in Big Bash League history, paid $1.7m eight years ago for the two-level home in the up-market, inner suburb of Windsor, and has now listed it for sale with Matthew Karatau of Signum Property Agents.

The property doesn’t come with a price guide, but recent comparable sales in the suburb were between $3m and $4m.

As of January, the 36-year-old is a free agent in the BBL after his one-year contract with the Adelaide Strikers expired.

Lynn lived in the Windsor property with his partner, Karlie, a Pilates instructor, up until recently, but now spends more time at their Sunshine Coast beachside home.

The home in Windsor comes with six bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Records show Lynn bought a house in Bokarina a couple of years ago for $2.5m, and also owns another property a few doors down the street, which he bought for $1.6m in 2020.

The veteran big hitter has seen value in the property game for a number of years.

He bought his first investment property in Kedron in 2014, and invested in another house in the same suburb during Covid. He has since sold both properties.

The Windsor house was last listed for rent for $2000 a week and is currently tenanted.

Along with six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and six-car accommodation, the house offers 180 degree views over the suburbs and parts of the city.

There are multiple living areas, a games rooms and a feature staircase that leads to the second storey.

On the top level is a kitchen, another open-plan living space, a huge master suite, and a terrace.

There’s also a heated pool with a water feature, and a patio with a retractable awning and outdoor kitchenette, featuring a built-in teppanyaki plate, sink and bar fridge.

The home is equipped with security cameras and there’s even enough lawn space to play backyard cricket.

It sits on a 486 sqm block.

Lynn and his partner welcomed their first child, Lily, in 2022.
