Here’s one house sale that’s bound to put a face on SA’s sick kids and their families.

2 Emerald Way, Mount Barker has just sold for $975,000, with all net proceeds supporting Variety SA, helping sick or disadvantage kids, and those living with a disability.

Built on land donated by Emerald Way owner and director Joe Belperio in honour of his daughter Amelie who died at the age of just three, the luxe two-storey home drew attention from right across the state, with Mr Belperio saying he was thrilled with the way the project brought the community together.

“This project began as a way to honour our daughter Amelie, and it has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined,” he said.

“The generosity shown by businesses, trades, supporters, and the wider community has been overwhelming.

“Every donation, every hour of work, and every act of kindness has helped turn our little girl’s legacy into something that will support children and families who desperately need it.

“We cannot thank everyone enough.
