A stunning waterfront property has just smashed its prestigious suburb’s already lofty residential sale record – and by a whopping $2.65m at that.
Property records show 23 Seaview Rd, Tennyson has just settled for a massive $7.85m, eclipsing the suburb’s previous record of $5.2m for the seven-bedroom waterfront passion project of the Shahin family at 81 Seaview Rd, Tennyson.

Stephanie Williams of Williams Real Estate, who sold the property with her husband John – and also sold it for $4.5m the last time it was offered to the market in 2018, according to SAILIS – said it was a special property.
“Representing this sale would have to be one of the highlights of my career – it really is what I’d call a trophy prestige property,” she said.
“As soon as people were aware that it was coming onto the market there was very strong local interest.
“We received multiple offers and we closed it out within three days of publishing it on our preliminary black book.

The home sits on a 722sqm allotment and property records show it offers some 573sqm of living space.
It boasts luxe interiors by Aptos Cruz, was designed by Edge Architects and built but boutique builder Chris Whittaker Constructions.
Mrs Williams said its offerings made it a hot property indeed.
“We had strong interest in it the first time I sold it, so I was not surprised at all that we got the interest we did and that we had a local purchase this property,” she said.

“There’s a very strong appetite for prestigious properties in all areas of Adelaide, but particularly in that absolute beachfront part of Tennyson.
“It’s so tightly held – you’ve got the sand dunes right in front of you, so no road, and this one just offers absolute prestige like no other.
“It’s an iconic home along that beachfront – it’s spectacular and there’s really nothing else like it.”
