Harpist Rebekah Chandler entertains the crowd at the launch party for 99 Military Rd, Dover Heights last night.

Celebrity jewellers Tarik and Zena Kaddour of House of K’dor in Double Bay have listed their latest glamorous home for sale at an extravagant launch party attended by 50 people.

The Champagne was flowing and there was even a harpist, Rebekah Chandler, to entertain the crowd as they oohed and aahed at the lavish five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence with three-car garage at 99 Military Rd, Dover Heights.

Listed for September 7 auction, the agents Cae Thomas, Associate Director at TRG, in conjunction with Ray White Double Bay’s Alan Fettes and Elliott Placks, already have interest at $12m.

The resort-style backyard will be popular with the whole family.

The Kaddours bought the original home on the 569sqm block for $5,325,000 in June 2021, a year before they sold another stunning home that they’d renovated in Rodney St, Dover Heights for $9.9m.

But their rebuild of the Military Rd home, using the services of Stanton home architect and luxury builder Asiel Construction, is even more impressive with huge windows capturing the sweeping city and Harbour Bridge views.

As in their former home, Zena says jewellery is always their inspiration in the design.

“It’s all about letting in more light to allow the sparkle,” Zena said.

Zena nominates the semi-circular window overlooking the pool as her favourite feature.

Outdoor entertaining.

“We’ve created an oasis, when you walk in you see all of these different textures and neutral tones … marble, stone and leather.

“It’s very inviting, spacious and beautiful.

“We’ve created different shapes, like diamonds and gemstones.

“We’ve really enjoyed it, it’s been a labour of love.”

Asked about her favourite feature, Zena nominated the semi-circular window overlooking the pool.

“It’s a work of art,” she said. “It was just beautiful to see it go from a sketch to reality.”
