1080 Kilmore-Lancefield Rd, Springfield (Kilmore), has a party vibe that would suit Homer Simpson and a price tag to entice Mr Burns.
A Springfield home fit for The Simpsons trillionaire Monty Burns is poised to smash a regional Victorian home price record.
The incredibly luxurious home not far from Melbourne’s outskirts comes complete with its own Olympic-sized equestrian arena, a pool with two water slides and a house with a seven-bedroom floorplan.
And, with a $4.5m-$4.95m dollarydoo asking price, it would smash the local record by close to $2m — set by an acreage on Pattersons Rd sold for $2.55m in 2020.

Despite being a long way from Evergreen Terrace in the United States, the 1080 Kilmore-Lancefield Rd address is in the little known Victorian community of Springfield — though on the border of better known neighbour Kilmore.
Owner Nathan, said while the home usually leaves visitors blown away, only a handful had ever acknowledged its location.
“Surprisingly, we don’t get comments about it being in Springfield; like, disappointingly so,” he said.
“I make a joke about Homer Simpson more than anyone. And I’m always telling people to bring doughnuts.”
The home has been designed as a “party house” with no expense spared.
Living areas are designed to be light filled and take in the main outdoor entertainment space.
He added that the lengthy build had taken equal measures of hope and delusion that it might some day finish, but by the time it was done it had become a popular spot for birthday parties, poker nights and a variety of family gatherings.
“It’s designed as a party house, and to host a lot of people and still have some privacy in the home,” he said.
Following the party, the home works spectacularly as a quiet oasis at night, with extensive lighting around its grounds adding a new dimension after dark.
Stockdale & Leggo agent Tim Romeril said the house was “next level” and had taken almost six years to build.
Pictured: next level … and a whole lot of space for guests or family to spread out in.
The property has been designed with night-time entertainment in mind, too.
“No expense has been spared on the place,” Mr Romeril said.
Included in the whopping 1137sq m of living spaces are six bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes, a home office that could be a seventh and also has a wardrobe, a home gym, home theatre, and an entertaining annex that features retractable doors comes with an indoor spa, a fireplace, sauna and its own barbecue kitchen.
The main living room, comes with a kitchen and meals area — as well as a concealed butler’s pantry.
Outside the home has a 1260sq m, Olympic-sized, horse arena with adjoining shedding, a pool with a spa and two water slides adjoining a landscaped garden centred around a pond, and a fire pit.
The build includes 80mm stone benchtops and designer cabinetry in the kitchen, bathrooms decked out with stone basins and bath tubs, and the whole home lined with double-glazed windows looking out to the pool and garden area.
Equestrian fans can take advantage of an Olympic-sized arena.
An indoor spa provides a cold weather alternative for a space to soak away the day’s stress.
“It’s not your standard hobby farm,” Mr Romeril said.
“I have never seen anything like this. It’s high-end meets country.
“The home could be sitting proudly in Toorak.”
While noting most people wouldn’t know Victoria had it’s own township of Springfield, and that it was easier to think of it as a part of neighbouring Kilmore, Mr Romeril said he could easily see the next owner being a wealthy family looking for a hobby farm where their kids could ride horses on the weekend.
“Or Monty Burns and Waylon Smithers, I’m sure would be happy with it,” he said.
As of the 2021 Census, Springfield had a population of just 193 with 85 residences in it.
Mr Romeril said he’d already had calls from prospective buyers inquiring if the home could be run as an Airbnb, with the Lancemore conference centre nearby.
