It was marketed as a “standout lifestyle property delivering space, flexibility and serious value for families or multi-generational living”.

Agents Cameron and Maioha Orth of Professionals – Tamborine Mountain had it on the market at offers over $1.39m.

“We believe that it was very well priced and the owners were not looking to try and be greedy,” Mr Orth said.

“Ultimately they said ‘this is what we think it’s worth’ and we agreed with them.

“We didn’t have dozens and dozens of people at the open home but genuine people who came through and agreed with the pricing.

“We knew exactly who the target audience was for this home and tailored the marketing campaign to maximise buyer interest and exposure.

“The results spoke for themselves, with strong online engagement and the property going under contract after just one open home.

“A special mention also goes to The Picket Fence for the fantastic photography.

“Despite rainy conditions on the day, they still captured the home beautifully and presented it exceptionally well.”

Mr Orth said a lot of buyers were looking for acreage properties with the option for dual living.

“A lot of people are coming from the suburbs and they sell and want to buy something for a similar price that gives them a bit of land,” he said.

“We just advertised it and marketed that way and thought it would appeal to certain buyers and it obviously did.”

He confirmed the property was under contract for more than the advertised price.

Publicly-available records reveal the sellers paid $592,000 for the property in 2017.

Other features of the main residence include a separate media room, study, fireplace and double-lock up garage.

PropTrack data shows the median house price in Jimboomba is $1,027,450, up 9.3 per cent over 12 months.
