“From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the stunning architectural design,” Ms Anbessie said.
“It was like ‘wow’, we loved everything about it.”
Describing the home as ‘ahead of its time’ Ms Anbessie said the flow of the property was ideal for both family living and entertaining.
“The living is downstairs and three of the bedrooms are upstairs,” she said.
“The moment you open the door you are greeted by a grand staircase with skylight above, and you can see through to the living areas overlooking the water.
“Large glass doors frame breathtaking views of the infinity pool, and the backdrop is Mount Tamborine.”

“It has a big water frontage, and the sun reflects beautifully on the water,” Ms Anbessie said.
“There are no boring days, and my social media is filled with millions of difference photos of those sunsets.”

Ms Anbessie and Mr Evans have made a series of improvements to the property during their time there, including upgrading the boat pontoon, installing motorised exterior blinds, and updating the outdoor entertaining space.
“It’s a beautiful home, and one thing we loved about it was the quality of the finish, which is excellent,” Ms Anbessie said.
“So, we have maintained it meticulously.”
Meanwhile, the striking residence has become a focal point for entertaining, catering to everything from major gatherings to small, more intimate parties.
“I love cooking and entertaining, and we’re always entertaining family, along with clients and staff members,” Ms Anbessie said.
“It’s a home with everything you could possibly need when it comes to entertaining.”

Looking back at the events held there over the years, Ms Anbessie said the initial housewarming was among her favourite memories, with 75 people attending to enjoy Teppanyaki in the downstairs entertaining area followed by desert on the upstairs balcony.
“The comments we always receive are: ‘stunning home’, ‘incredible architectural design’, and ‘the design is truly ahead of its time’,” Ms Anbessie said.
“People consistently remark on how well-loved and cared for this house is.”

The couple has now bought another property on a double block in a bid to cater to even larger family gatherings, but Ms Anbessie said 23 Queen Guineveres remained a home they had enjoyed immensely.
“We still call it our dream home,” she said.
“It’s a beautifully decorated and designed home and it truly captured our hearts.”
The Sovereign Islands stunner is listed with Alister Billingsley and Jeanette Schmidt of Amir Prestige Group and is set to go to auction on January 28.
