One of Australia’s most recognisable television personalities, Sonia Kruger, could soon be trading Sydney’s harbour views for Hollywood Hills, potentially bringing an end to her much-publicised Mosman neighbour disputes.
According to The Australian, the Channel Seven star is actively shopping herself to broadcasters in the United States and the United Kingdom, sparking speculation she may soon be shopping for a new pad in Los Angeles or London.
The Gold Logie winner, reportedly one of Australia’s highest-paid presenters, is understood to be assembling a professional show reel, meticulously crafted to pitch her talents to international networks.

The ambitious career pivot comes amid a period of review for Channel Seven’s entertainment slate, with the network reportedly looking to reduce production costs and questions hanging over the future of some of its biggest reality franchises.
Channel 7 star Sonia Kruger and her partner, the former Channel 7 executive Craig McPherson are reportedly considering an overseas move.
While Kruger remains the face of flagship programs like The Voice and Dancing with the Stars, the future of the high-budget singing competition beyond 2026 remains uncertain.
Media Diary reports suggest executives are weighing up The Voice’s significant production costs and costly international licensing agreement, a decision that could leave Kruger with fewer high-profile hosting roles at the network.
Kruger herself recently fuelled international ambitions, documenting a whirlwind trip to Los Angeles on Instagram.
Sharing snaps from her travels, she lauded United Airlines’ premium Polaris service, writing: “Whirlwind weekend. SYD>LAX in the best possible way … The Polaris experience with United Airlines is next level!”

She later quipped, “Pretending this is my normal life!” – a sentiment that might soon become reality.
The timing of these overseas aspirations is particularly pertinent given the ongoing saga surrounding the $6.9 million proposed home Kruger shares with partner, former Channel 7 executive Craig McPherson, on the prestigious Balmoral slopes.
The couple’s plans for their four-level residence have been a source of contention with neighbours, particularly concerning the building’s height.

Despite recent reductions, trimming up to 1250mm off the original proposal, the amended plans still show a noncompliance with Mosman Council height rules.
The revised design now sits 1.06 metres higher than permitted over a 25 square metre section, representing 5 per cent of the overall building footprint.
The property development has been a source of considerable angst for local residents. Neighbours Neil and Jenny Jagger previously told the council they had been “traumatised looking at these height poles for the past few weeks as they show very clearly the vast bulk of the building.”
Kruger and McPherson purchased the knockdown single-storey property for a substantial $16.1 million in March last year, reportedly $4.6 million over its reserve.
This followed their sale of a previously renovated Mosman home for $19 million to Primo Smallgoods matriarch Maria Hunt.
