After over two decades as a Channel 7 star Sam Armytage has called it quits. She says she still has ‘gas in the tank’ and is excited about her next step.
But even if she just decides to put her feet up and enjoy life she will be very well served after putting this impressive property portfolio together.
All up the ex-Sunrise presenter probably owns over $10m in real estate.
SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS
In May, Armytage snapped up a renovation project in Moss Vale in NSW’s Southern Highlands, about 90 minutess south of Sydney.
The expansive 1922 sqm block, not far off the Argyle St retail strip, has a single-level home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Armytage paid $1.3m for the 1960s home with a 1990s kitchen. It was the first time the property had changed hands since 1962.

It is just a 12-minute drive to the Berrima farm Armytage shares with husband Richard Lavender. They married in late 2020.
Lavender bought his 40ha holding for $1,950,000 from Southern Highlands farmer Theo Onisforou in 2007.

However, The former Sunrise presenter Sam Armytage’s marriage to the horse breeding farmer Richard Lavender has, with the benefit of hindsight, come at a significant personal financial cost.
Her Burrawang weekender, Pear Tree Cottage, which she sold ahead of moving into Lavender’s farm at Berrima, was onsold at a price that stunned the Southern Highlands village.

This Burrawang home was sold for $3.1m in 2020.
However it was onsold three years later for almost double.

Armytage pocketed a bullish $3.1m in August 2020 from her sale, three months after the couple’s engagement and four months before their wedding.
But the cottage was onsold in March last year for nearly double the price – for $6m, which is a record price for acreage in the village

RUSHCUTTERS BAY
Armytage purchased an investment property for $1.575m in Rushcutters Bay in Sydney’s east in August 2021.
The two-bedroom waterfront home is in the coveted Marina One complex.

HYAMS, SOUTH COAST
Armytage is still yet to sell her NSW South Coast hamlet of Hyams Beach, home to ‘the whitest sand in the world’, which has been on the market for some time.
She has so far maintained a $3.2m price guide for the three-bedroom, two-bathroom holiday rental offering which secures up to $1200 a night.
She renovated the property after buying for $1.765m in 2018.

In July 2020, Armytage sold her North Bondi home well above price expectations for $3.15m.

The home hit the market just a few days after the announcement of Armytage’s engagement to partner Richard Lavender.
