A man with no family has left his property to two charities in an extraordinary final act of giving.

For sale for the first time since 1974, the low-set Queensland cottage in Brisbane’s Zillmere will be auctioned on February 28 with all of the proceeds split equally between the RSPCA and Cancer Council Queensland.
