Porter Davis co-founder David Shergold and his wife, Nathalie have sold their Armadale mansion for just under $19m, industry sources reveal.
The five-bedroom house at 6 Flete Ave was listed in October with a $20m-22m price guide and unusually was advertised for sale abroad before it was in Australia.
Property records show the property was in the name of Mr Shergold’s wife, Nathalie.

Mr Shergold helped create the home building business in 1999, but sold his stake in 2007 — well before Porter Davis went into liquidation with about 1700 people awaiting homes to be built last year.
While Abercromby’s director Jock Langley declined to comment on who the sellers were or the sale price, he said both the vendors and the purchasers were very happy.
“The significance of this property sale in the early new year is a good confidence boost for those who are looking to transact,” Mr Langley said.
“Homes like this don’t come up every day of the week.”
He added that the house was beautifully designed, which drew a lot of interest while it was on the market.
Mr Langley told the Herald Sun earlier the residence underwent a full refit after it was purchased about 10 years ago by the vendors.
“It is a true one off,” he said at the time.

“It has a magnificent pool, a large screening of evergreen trees behind it that give it good privacy.”
He also noted that efforts to sell the property had started overseas, with interest coming from expats in Italy, London and Switzerland.
Interstate buyers had also eyed the home from Sydney and Queensland, while local parties included recent migrants from across Asia.
The mansion was designed by architect Ralph Chalmers and has light-filled living zones as well as a five-car garage.
There’s also a swimming pool, spa, cinema, studio and climate-controlled wine cellar.
