51 Beach Rd, Collaroy, on the northern point of exclusive Collaroy Basin, has a $26m price tag.
Collaroy’s famous Point House looks set to smash the suburb record for the second time after coming to market this week with a $26m price tag.
The Beach Rd site on the northern point of exclusive Collaroy Basin amazed locals when it sold first as a multi-million-dollar block of land in 2018 and then as a $16m Peter Stutchbury cutting-edge house in March 2021.
Now, less than five years later the landmark property with its north-east aspect and views up the coast has added a cool $10m to its value.
Pretty impressive when you consider the median house price for Collaroy is $3.51m.
Former Boston Consulting Group MD and partner Brad Noakes sold his Queen Anne style home in Clifton Gardens to buy The Point House in 2021.

The distinctive five-bedroom, four-bathroom home is on more than 600sqm of land.
But the vision for the headland was that of oil and gas millionaire Russell Staley who in 2018 bought a double block on Beach Rd for $15.5m with the idea of creating at least one trophy home.
Back in 2019 agent Brendan Pomponio, of Belle Property, predicted that it wouldn’t be long before the beach suburb of Collaroy, especially the prized Basin area, would see $20m homes.
The Point House still holds the suburb record so Brendan’s prediction will come to pass when it sells again.
He is again the selling agent, this time with an expression of interest campaign.

“This is once in a lifetime opportunity and when people take into consideration building costs turnkey is the way to go,” Brendan said, adding that the owner added a gym, games room, wine cellar and air conditioning to the home.
