23/12/2006 NEWS: Sesame Street certainly knows how to bring sunny days! On Tuesday, December 12, the New York Jets' Ben Graham, Laveranues Coles, Chad Pennington and Coach Eric Manginiʳtopped by the studio in Astoria, Queens, to tape a segment of the award-winning preschool series. The players, who had their children in tow, taught Elmo a few football fundamentals. Although the loveable red Muppet was the one getting the pointers, clearly the time spent together was just what the Jets needed.ʁ few days laterʌaveranues had one of his best games ever, and Pennington led the Jets to a 26-13 victory against the Vikings. Now, he and his wife are selling their six-bedroom house at 7 Esperance Ave.

While Fredman Real Estate senior sales executive Sarah Korbel declined to comment on who owned the property, she said its location was a major drawcard.

The kitchen looks out on the yard.

“It’s tucked away in a no-through road. It is literally, I would say 300-400m to the beach. It is 100m to Church St, Brighton,” Ms Korbel said.

“The price point for this location as well is outstanding. It’s very hard to get a home in this particular pocket at that price point.

“You’re among very good company in terms of homes worth … up to $15m-$20m.”

The swish lounge area and hardwood floors.

The backyard has a picturesque pool.

She added that the abode’s floor plan was very flexible, and the next owner could configure its six bedrooms anyway they’d like.

“There’s also a lot of scope to further improve,” she said.

“It is a very, very comfortable and very light-filled home as is, but down the track, you could also further enhance the property.”

Inside, there’s large floor-to-ceiling glass windows and plenty of natural light.

The kitchen is fitted with twin Miele ovens, a semi-integrated dishwasher and stone benchtops.

Outside, there’s a pool, alfresco entertaining deck and even a playground.

Expressions of interest close on 28 April at 5pm.
