The co-founder of one of Brisbane’s leading developers has placed his luxury river home on the market, expected to sell for up to $20 million.

Aria Property Group co-founder Tim Forrester, along with his wife Mackenzie, are selling their Fig Tree Pocket home: a seven-bedroom paradise with nearly a hectare worth of space.

The Fig Tree Pocket home known as ‘Casaminga’ is being sold by Aria Property Group co-founder Tim Forrester and his wife Mackenzie.

The home was worth $6m when it last sold in 2017, but is now understood to be valued at around $20m.

The Mediterranean-inspired property known as ‘Casaminga’ was bought by the Forrester family in 2017 for $6m. Less than ten years later, it is understood the value of the property is estimated to have more than tripled.

The home’s sale is being managed by McGrath Paddington, with agent Alex Jordan saying $7m had been invested to renovate the property into a true wellness resort.

“It’s a beautiful home – one of the best I’ve seen in 27 years,” he said. “It’s like a five-star resort that you’d typically go on a holiday to visit.”

The owners spent an estimated $7m renovating the property over their nine years in the home.

The property now sports a series of modern luxury amenities, from vaulted ceilings to a designer kitchen across nearly a hectare of space.

Casaminga boasts a whopping 9,561 sqm of space, with 79 metres of river frontage and a series of luxury amenities.

The 25-metre pool was used for training during the Covid-19 pandemic by swimmer Ariarne Titmus, an Olympic gold medallist and world record holder for the long course 200-metre freestyle.

The pool is just one of many amenities within the estate, including a riverview terrace, bespoke gym, tennis and pétanque courts and a private cottage.

“You’ve got your own exclusive park out there,” Mr Jordan said.

The house also has 79 metres of frontage along the Brisbane river, with a private pier and a cottage to the side of the estate.

It is understood discussions for the home are underway with several local, interstate and expat buyers.

Fig Tree Pocket is known for its high-profile homes, with even higher-profile residents. Casaminga was previously owned by tech entrepreneur Bevan Slattery and his wife Jodie, who remained locals after selling the home.

Other celebrities known to live in the area include billionaire businessman and politician Clive Palmer, along with hospitality mogul John Gambaro.
