A Gold Coast penthouse under construction on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise has sold for $19,180,053.

Marketing agent Adrian Parsons, managing director of Total Property Group, said the 706 sqm penthouse drew strong interest from multiple buyers.

“The purchaser is a Brisbane-based professional who had been quietly watching the market for the right opportunity,” Mr Parsons said.

“As soon as they saw the Royale Gold Coast penthouse, they knew it was something truly

unique.

Mr Parsons said the floorplan was a major drawcard for the buyer.

“They appreciate the thoughtful layout and seamless flow of the floor plan, from the grand entry to the formal entertaining zones, palatial private master retreat and integrated indoor-outdoor areas, offering a balance of private spaces and areas for entertaining, which really appealed to them,” Mr Parsons said.

Standout features include a wine cellar, full-sized bar and a formal dining area designed to accommodate 14 guests.

The tower’s resident amenities were also a huge drawcard, Mr Parsons said.

“One of the standout features for the buyer was the inclusion of two lagoon-style beachfront swimming pools,” he said.

“They also loved the convenience of having a wellness amenities on-site.”

Mr Parsons said Royale was a “once-in-a-generation” development.

“There are only a handful of buildings that sit directly on absolute beachfront along the prestigious Northcliffe Terrace as this is on its way to becoming one of the most elite strips of real estate in Australia,” Mr Parsons said.

DD Living’s David Devine said the penthouse sale showed strong demand for beachfront developments.

“This penthouse home represents the pinnacle of beachfront living and it’s very rewarding to see it so well received by a buyer who truly appreciates the architectural vision and lifestyle we’ve created,” Mr Devine said.

“It’s exciting to see construction progress so strongly, with the tower now surpassing the halfway mark, a significant milestone that brings the vision for Royale Gold Coast closer to reality.”

Remaining residences in Royale are priced from $5.46m with the building expected to be complete in 2026.
