The home at 749 Woori Yallock Rd, Nangana, about an hour’s drive from Melbourne’s CBD, is on the market for the first time in more than 50 years.

Ranges First National Real Estate Belgrave and Cockatoo director Mick Dolphin, who has the listing alongside colleague Mike Rosario, said the owners were downsizing now their children had grown up.
One of the owners is a fan of Spanish Mission-like facades and incorporated the distinctive design into the five-bedroom house when it was built, Mr Dolphin added.
The downstairs area featuring a second kitchen, bar and wine cellar opens up to the pool and spa.
The view from the pool and deck is pretty spectacular.
The main kitchen is accompanied by another one in the downstairs area.
The owners enjoy sailing a small boat on the fish-filled dam.
An undercover outdoor area offers a built-in barbecue and the deck is ideal for dining.
“The home was really designed around entertaining,” Mr Dolphin said.
“The owners had big parties, they told me that they had their fiftieth wedding anniversary there a couple of years ago and hundreds of people attended.”
The house has been renovated across the years including in the past 24 months.
Mr Dolphin described the wine cellar as “unbelievable”.
One of four bathrooms in the house.
Its upstairs contains the kitchen, dining and living areas, while the main bedroom offers a dressing room and ensuite.
A dedicated guest suite showcases its own balcony, ensuite and separate sitting area.
Mr Dolphin said the abode was incredibly private and could not be seen from the road.
Visitors to the property are welcomed by a caretaker’s cottage and electric gates.
A creek meanders past the property’s border.
There is a large automatic generator to run the entire home in case of power failure, 11 external cameras and other security measures in place.
Other highlights include a workshop, creek running along the address’ back boundary and a wishing well which sits atop where the bore water is accessed.
Mr Dolphin said that apart from families, the property would suit “someone looking for that ultimate destination”.
“You want to have it all there, with a little bit of privacy and some land around you and that beautiful, big dam,” he said.
