Hailey Bieber has opened up about how her $US26 million ($A41 million) mansion has become a safe haven amid public backlash over her seven-year marriage to Justin Bieber.
In an interview with Vogue, the Rhode beauty brand founder spoke out about her experience of dealing with online hate and furious scrutiny.
The 28-year-old model explained how becoming a mother to now-8-month-old son Jack has prompted her to all but withdraw from the public eye so she can raise him privately away from prying eyes.
Although Hailey is regularly pictured at events, she confessed that she prefers staying at home inside her seven-bedroom Beverly Hills, California, property.
“I’m a cozy person. Our house is my element, and my sanctuary. It’s where my heart is, for sure,” she told the outlet.

Since welcoming their son in August 2024, the Biebers have been careful to avoid having him photographed in public.
Hailey noted that they limit family outings as much as possible in order to protect their son’s privacy.
“We don’t take him to a lot of places. We don’t want anyone to …. I mean, you’ve just got to see how invasive it all is. It feels mean to put a baby into that,” she said.
Luckily, the couple’s home, which they purchased in 2020, was bought with babies in mind, Realtor reports.
Hailey told Vogue that she believes her son “will love” the playground that sits at the centre of their neighbourhood, although she concedes that he’s a little young to appreciate the space just yet.
Aside from providing a “safe” space in which to raise her child, Hailey also noted that the home has given her a haven in which to go through the “high highs and low lows” of being post-partum, a period that she admitted saw her experiencing more “self-hatred” than ever before.
“I cry a lot more than I did before,” she said, revealing that she is working on being vulnerable and allowing herself “to feel what I’m feeling and be not okay, and be able to just really express that and feel safe with my friends to just be like, ‘I’m losing it today.’”
“I was so not confrontational before. It was not easy for me to express things that bothered me or when people were pushing or stepping over boundaries.
“And now I just feel so much more clear about, ‘Hey, this does not work for me,’” she added.

Despite the ups and downs that motherhood has brought with it, Hailey and Justin still find time to enjoy some more simple marital experiences, like ordering Postmates — while the model concedes that she’s also well known among her friends for being the first person to see a popular new TV show from start to finish.
She’s also experimenting more with cooking, she revealed, explaining that she’s begun whipping up some fun new recipes for Jack to enjoy now that he’s started eating solid foods.
When she isn’t playing with Jack and lounging with Justin, Hailey is tending to her two blonde Yorkies, Piggy Lou and Oscar, and listening to her husband belt out a series of tunes in their in-house recording studio.
The rest of her free time is devoted to caring for her skin and body with numerous pilates, sauna, cold plunge, and facial sessions, much of which she is able to do inside the walls of her home should she wish, thanks to its many in-house amenities.
Their home serves as the ideal sanctuary for anyone hoping to remain away from prying eyes, thanks in large part to its location inside one of Los Angeles’ “most sought-after guard-gated” communities.

Described in its original listing as being set “in the middle of park-like grounds” that span more than 2.5 acres, the home was hailed as offering the utmost privacy and seclusion to its owners.
The home features state-of-the-art amenities and comes complete with a stunning entrance area, an expansive living room, a formal dining room, a chef’s kitchen, and a sensational theatre room.
It also boasts plenty of windows that overlook the lush landscaping and allow a flood of natural light into the space.
The property also holds a lavish swimming pool, tennis court, and outdoor living and dining rooms with a barbecue, pizza oven, and koi pond.
There’s six bedrooms, including a primary suite with a separate sitting area, dual closets, and bathrooms with heated floors.
According to its original listing, “this estate is perfect for large scale entertaining, set in the middle of park-like grounds, completely private and secluded.”

It is the perfect place for Hailey to seek shelter — particularly at a time when the online rumour mill appears to be stuck in overdrive with speculation about her marriage, her husband’s wellbeing, and the truth about his prior relationship with fellow musician, Selena Gomez.
Since she tied the knot to Justin in 2021, Hailey has been the source of an overwhelming amount of hate that sees fans accusing her of stealing the singer from Gomez.
Justin has attempted to sway the narrative by repeatedly professing his love for Hailey, even telling Vogue in an email, “I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”
He added, “She’s in the spotlight, and has the attention because of her effortless knack for style, business, art, and fashion. And the way she makes being a mum and wife look easy.”
Hailey confessed that the constant attention “makes no sense” to her, voicing her surprise over how many different headlines are written about her husband or her marriage every day — insisting that almost all of the speculation about them simply isn’t true.
She even addressed one of the more recent reports — that she and Justin are planning to leave Los Angeles — head-on during her Vogue interview, telling the outlet: “There’s no leaving L.A. for us. We love it here.”

However, should the duo wish to take a break from the bright lights of Los Angeles, they head to their Palm Springs dwelling, which they purchased in 2023 for a jaw-dropping $US16.6 million.
Since snapping up the house, it has served as a vacation residence for the couple, who regularly host getaways with their friends inside the La Quinta dwelling.
The home sits on an acre within Coachella Valley’s Madison Club community, which A-listers such as Scooter Braun, Adele, Kris Jenner, and Kourtney Kardashian also call home.
Their vacation rental was built in 2009 and boasts a French-inspired aesthetic along with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
The 10,000-square-foot property also has its very own guesthouse, tennis court, and a massive swimming pool.
