Florida

Back in 2024, Macpherson finalised the sale of her stunning Florida estate for $US18.5 million ($A27.4 million).

The former Sports Illustrated cover girl snapped up the mansion in 2018 for $US8.1 million ($A11.3 million).

Based in the Coral Gables area, the house sits on more than 1.7 acres of land, with a 830 sqm home boasting six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a saltwater pool and a powder room.

In 2015, the Friends star listed her seven-bedroom Aspen retreat for $US35 million ($A52 million).

Macpherson and then-husband billionaire Jeffrey Soffer purchased the Colorado home in 2007 for $US36.5 million ($A54 million).

The 26ha estate, once owned by Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan, sits within an exclusive gated community overlooking Aspen and comes with all the high-end amenities.

Miami

In 2017, Macpherson had moved out of her $US26 million ($A38 million) marital home in Florida after her split from Soffer.

The glamour girl moved with her sons Flynn and Aurelius to Miami in 2014 to be closer to Soffer one year after their wedding.

Elle and her two children, who are from her previous relationship with billionaire Arpad Busson, resided in the mansion for three years.

Soffer purchased the sprawling estate in 2000 for $US7million ($A10.4 million).

New York

In 2017, Macpherson unloaded her New York City pied-à-terre for $US2.4 million ($A3.5 million).

She had converted the roomy two bedroom, two-and-a-half bath pad into a one bedroom.

The model bought the Upper East Side unit in 1993, the year she made the movie Sirens with Hugh Grant.

The apartment includes a woodburning fireplace, home office, chef’s kitchen and is located next door to Central Park.

Notting Hill

In 2009, Macpherson sold her London home for £7.5 million ($A15 million) after more than a year on the market.

The Batman & Robin star bought the Notting Hill house in 2006 for £6.25m ($A12 million) following her split from Busson.

Built in the 1850s, the property features six bedrooms, five bathrooms and a 36ft-long kitchen.

Cotswolds

Macpherson added a lakeside home on a luxury eco-estate in the rural Cotswolds, England to her property portfolio. She designed the interiors for the Dock House.

“I loved designing a modern house that celebrates the architecture and maintenance-free lifestyle that The Lakes offers,” the businesswoman told Country and Townhouse in 2017.

“The large expanses of water and wide-open spaces also remind me of Australia, so it very much feels like home to me.”

Situated at The Lakes by Yoo near Lechlade, prices for a home in the development cost from about $2.5 million to $4.6 million.

From studying law to modelling career

Macpherson began modelling to pay for the books she needed to study law at Sydney University.

But the plan fell through when she ended up becoming one of the highest-paid models in the world.

“My mum encouraged me, she didn’t want me getting married and staying at home,” she said during an interview on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross 2010.

“I never thought I’d be working for thirty years. We just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The Eighties was a period of extravagance – there was a need for dynamic women.”

Macpherson was coined ‘The Body’ by Time Magazine in 1989.

She earned the nickname for her trim physique and record number of cover shoots for Sports Illustrated magazine, featuring in 1986, 1987, 1988, 1994, and 2006, The Sun reports.

Macpherson has also appeared on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue among others and has walked runways for brands such as Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior.

In the May 1994 issue of Playboy she posed nude in order to do it “on her terms” since the media had begun to search for naked pics of her by contacting ex-boyfriends.

In 2014 she co-founded the business WelleCo with Andrea Horwood which specialises in health and wellness products including plant proteins and dietary supplements.
