31 Pacific St, Main Beach is going to auction.

A Main Beach rarity is up for grabs, with a near new luxury mansion located just metres from the beachfront set to go to auction.

Positioned on the corner of Pacific St and Aloha Lne, the Hamptons style home is marketed by Robbie Graham of Ray White Prestige Gold Coast – Surfers Paradise.

It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and multiple entertaining areas in a two-storey residence within 100m of the waterfront.

Entertain in style.

Gold Coast businessman Andrew Schulz purchased the corner block in 2018 with the vision of building a spacious coastal inspired home with ample car accommodation.

“It was the only block for sale at the time,” Mr Schulz said.

“I loved the fact it was 110 steps to the beach, and I was keen to do something different.”

Bucking the apartment trend, Mr Schulz opted to build an expansive freestanding home, complete with triple garage, carport, entertaining terrace, and a large east-facing deck with ocean views.

“I wanted something clean, white and crisp and a nice open happy house, which is what it is,” he said.

“It’s a good combination between a casual beach lifestyle and a corporate entertainer.”

Another entertaining terrace.

Completed in late 2019, the home has played host to plenty of dinner parties and barbecues, and features a light bright colour palette and relaxed coastal vibe.

“It’s a really great entertainer’s house,” Mr Schulz said.

“The balcony off the kitchen and lounge area is a great place to relax with friends, while the vaulted ceilings and established gardens all add to what is a beautiful home.”

Completing the entertainer’s lifestyle is a wine cellar, spacious open plan kitchen with butler’s pantry and a covered entertaining terrace with outdoor kitchen.

French doors, plantation shutters and dormer windows further evoke the Hampton’s feel, while a grand staircase, fireplace with feature stone wall, and custom-made dog shower all

add to the property’s luxury appeal.

Upstairs, are three of the property’s four bedrooms, with the master enjoying its own private wing and boasting a vast walk-in robe, ensuite with dual vanity, and a private balcony.

The house was meticulously designed.

Beyond the home, the property features 57m of street frontage and is meticulously landscaped with lush green lawns, low maintenance gardens, and 60-year-old Frangipani trees that were retained from the original beach cottage.

A long-time Main Beach local, Mr Schulz is now set to downsize, and said the property would make an ideal home for families or those seeking a spacious home that is designed to stand the test of time.

“I’ve got mixed feelings about leaving as it’s unique property that is immaculately presented,” he conceded.

“But I want something smaller, and this needs a family.”

Mr Schulz won’t be venturing too far, however, having already purchased a beachside apartment which is nearing completion.

“I’ve lived in Main Beach since 1991, and it’s a place with a really good community feel,” he said.

“It’s friendly, has a village atmosphere and the people are lovely.”

In the meantime, Mr Schulz said the sale of the property offered a unique opportunity to

secure one of very few near new homes in Main Beach and one of the only freestanding

houses east of Tedder Ave.

“There’s really nothing else like it,” he said.
