Hackers put Britney Spears’ $15m mansion up for sale.

Oops — it’s not for sale.

Britney Spears was targeted by hackers when her mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, in northwest Los Angeles was falsely listed for sale by Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the New York Post reports.

According to TMZ, the LA property was listed under $US9 million ($A13.7 million), quickly spreading to other US real estate sites like Realtor.com and Zillow, igniting a social media storm.

The false listing had the home marketed for sale at $US9 million.

The “Toxic” singer’s management team came across the ad and contacted the real estate agents in the listing.

The agents said they were unaware of the listing and the property quickly was taken off the real estate sites.

Sources told TMZ that the “whole thing was a hack”. The identity of the hacker remains unknown.

The luxe home features an infinity pool, tennis court, mini golf course, media room, pool house and 3500-bottle wine cellar. The residence boasts grand views of the LA skyline.

In 2022, Spears and her now ex-husband Sam Asghari bought a mansion in Calabasas for $US11.8 million, only to sell it a year later at a loss — for $US10.1 million.

Over the years, she’s owned properties in Westlake Village, Hollywood Hills, Malibu, Beverly Hills and even two condos in New York’s Greenwich Village.

Back in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, she owns a property where her mother still resides.

As for the Thousand Oaks mansion, Spears had considered leaving it, but ultimately decided to stay put.
