Even has a Hills Hoist
A Brisbane buyers agent has revealed what $700,000 will got a ‘lucky’ buyer in the River City, and it features some hilarious takes on the home’s many shortcomings.

Jayke Cuschieri shows viewers what a buyer paid for this house
“This is what $700,000 buys you in Brisbane and the lucky purchaser got the whole lot,” De Novo Buyers Agency founder and director Jayke Cuschieri said in a recent Instagram video.
“The lawnmower I was leaning on, the abacus through the sheeting near the front door and your choice of several washing machines from the back or front yard.”
But despite its many flaws, Jayke said he too missed out on the house.
“I was actually interested in buying it,” he said, adding it was opposite a train line. “But I was in Thailand at the time so missed out.”
“I think it has way more potential and could be a cute house but they (the new owners) have a lot of work to do.”
The house sold to a local buyer who plans to renovate the eyesore.

Located in Mitchelton, the property was sold “as is, where is” by Denovans Real Estate on February 1.
“Properties like this don’t come around often, don’t miss your chance to enter the Mitchelton market at an unbeatable price point!” the listing said, while also highlighting its renovate or detonate potential.
There are “textured walls”, aka holes
And the listing photos show the unmatched bespoke features both inside and out.
“You are greeted with these fascinating textured feature walls and picturesque murals that flow throughout the whole home,” Jayke says during a walk-through of the two bedroom house.
“A serene and intimate master retreat offers a cozy ambience perfect for relaxation and restful nights..
“This kitchen is a chef’s dream and is the perfect spot for your guests to grab a quick snack before they head outside to the backyard for the endless activities including the rock climbing wall, full-sized soccer net and the perfect spot for some hide and go seek.
“Bunnings trips will also be a thing of the past because everything you need is already here. “And that rock climbing wall that I mentioned before, yep that’s it. Would you pay $700,000 for this?”
And “picturesque murals” aka graffiti
Well someone did.
And as for those textured walls, forget about custom recesses and bespoke panelling or designer wallpaper.
Think random holes smashed into the gyprock accompanied by graffiti and mould.

The “serene and intimate master retreat” is more the stuff of nightmares, while that chef’s kitchen conjures up images of Gordon Ramsay’s expletive laden tirades.

Meanwhile, that game of soccer in the backyard comes with a side serving of Jumanji … and possibly tetanus.
There is that rock climbing wall laying against the fence so that’s a bonus, alongside the countless other items left inside and outside the home.
At the time of the sale, marketing agent Rob Missenden of Denovans Real Estate said he had received “more offers than I could count” for the home.
“The most amount of interest has been from flippers and people wanting to renovate,” Mr Missenden said.
“At the end of the day, real estate has a floor in land value. You’re buying 412 sqm of land. Who cares about the house? People have fixed up worse and knocked over better.”
