Inside the Corner House.
It last changed hands in 2022, when the builder Don Cotterill, the owner of custom-home builder Sanctuary 28, sold the property.
Mr Cotterill bought the block, on the corner of TE Peters Drive and Rio Vista Blvd in 2018 and was on a mission to build a display home that would showcase what can be achieved when people think outside of the “cookie-cutter” box.

The house blends indoor and outdoor living.
Since completion in 2020, the Corner House has done just that, with its brick and timber facade turning the heads of those who pass by it daily.
Mr Cotterill worked with Gold Coast architect Paul Uhlmann to create the one-of-a-kind residence.
Spread across an awkward block on the corner of a busy T-junction, the home has dual front facades that cocoon the house, blocking out noise from the busy roads and creating a sense of tranquillity from the moment the front door opens.
