Ellen DeGeneres is severing her final ties to the US, five months after she and wife Portia de Rossi relocated to the UK.

The 67-year-old comedian has listed her last remaining California properties on the market for $US5 million ($A7.9 million), Realtor reports.

According to the outlet, DeGeneres, 67, and de Rossi, 52, put the two-bedroom Montecito home on the market on the evening of March 10, just over four years after they purchased it for $US2.9 million.

The couple have bought and sold more than a dozen homes in the Los Angeles area over the past decade.

In recent months, the pair have been attempting to offload a number of their remaining real estate investments since quitting the US to move to the Cotswolds, a tiny countryside located around two hours outside of London.

This latest listing comes less than two months after the former daytime TV host put another Montecito home on the market — a five-bedroom abode that she relisted in January for $US29.99 million ($A47.8 million).

Their newly-listed home boasts its “own patio, spa-like bath, and generous closet space.” It comes complete with a chef’s kitchen and courtyard with a cozy fire pit.

“A sound fence ensures privacy and serenity, while the spacious backyard offers room for a pool or guesthouse all within moments of the beach, Coral Casino, and Lower Village,” adds the listing.

The Hollywood couple purchased the property in December 2020 for $US2.9 million.

Back in November, news broke of DeGeneres and de Rossi’s move to the UK.

According to TMZ, the pair decided to “get the hell out” of the US after Donald Trump’s presidential win — despite the fact that they’d purchased their home months earlier.

DeGeneres was an outspoken supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election, publicly endorsing her in a post shared on Instagram back in August.

The property firesale follows a tumultuous time for DeGeneres after she battled multiple claims she was a ‘toxic’ person to work with beind the scenes of her show.

During the past decade, DeGeneres and de Rossi have made a name for themselves as talented real estate moguls, buying, flipping, and selling multiple homes in California — largely for a hefty profit.

In August 2024, the comedian offloaded one of her most expensive properties to date, a $US96 million ($A139 million) Carpinteria estate.

DeGeneres and de Rossi purchased the sprawling dwelling in two parts in 2022, first snapping up the main property — a five-bedroom, eight-bathroom, Tuscan-style mansion — for $US41.7 million.

The couple then added the adjoining 6.58-acre land for $US28.2 million in order to create a jaw-dropping, 10-acre estate atop a bluff overlooking the ocean.

That sale came just months after DeGeneres and de Rossi offloaded another mansion in nearby Montecito, California, where the funny woman lived within a stone’s throw of their close friends, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

DeGeneres sold that property for $US32 million ($A50 million) in February 2024. It had been listed for sale in October 2023 for $US46.5 million ($A74 million).
