Donald Trump Jr has broken his silence about his reported split from fianceé Kimberly Guilfoyle.
In a statement to Page Six, the President-elect’s son said “Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond.”
He added of Guilfoyle, who is now headed to Greece as US ambassador under Donald Trump, “I could not be more proud of her and the important role she’ll continue to play in my father‘s administration.”
“She’s been an undefeated prosecutor, national TV news star, a leader of the MAGA movement and close advisor to the president.
“The people of Greece are getting an absolute star and now the whole world will see it more than ever.”

In his statement, Trump Jr did not specifically confirm the split although speculation is now mounting over what will happen to their $US9.7 million ($A15.2 million) Jupiter, Florida, mansion, which they purchased together in March 2021.
The home boasts six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It sits on a plum 1.18-acre waterfront lot, Realtor reports.
According to the original listing, the home underwent a “massive update” before it was purchased by the Trump family scion and his partner. They both have been incredibly active in the president-elect’s campaign and are expected to maintain key roles in his administration.
Situated in the upscale neighbourhood of Admirals Cove, the home boasts proximity to a golf course and a marina.
The property is also a 30-minute drive from the Mar-a-Lago resort, which became Trump’s permanent residence after he left the White House following the 2020 election, which he lost to Joe Biden.
News of the rumoured split comes after Trump Jr was spotted enjoying a romantic night out with US socialite Bettina Anderson in Palm Beach.
Shortly after Trump Jr’s outing with Anderson, sources claimed to the New York Post that he and Guilfoyle have officially split, and were separated when he moved on with his new love interest.
“Bettina and Don have been together for a few months, and are super cute and happy together. It’s just a natural fit — everyone is happy for them,” the insider claimed.
People report Trump Jr has been dating his new love interest for six months, alleging that Guilfoyle has “looked the other way” because she “loves the power and lifestyle” that her proximity to the Trump family has afforded her.

News of Trump Jr’s alleged new romance emerged at around the same time that Guilfoyle was picked for a new international role in her once-future-father-in-law’s administration as US ambassador to Greece.
If Guilfoyle is confirmed, the position will require her to relocate overseas — leaving behind sunny Florida, mansion.
Many in the Trump family moved to the Sunshine State when his first presidency came to an end.
Elder daughter Ivanka Trump moved to Miami, where she spent several years living in a luxury apartment with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children while the family renovated an enormous megamansion on Indian Creek Island.

The family has since moved into their enormous abode, which is located in the same exclusive community as Tom Brady and Jeff Bezos‘ homes.
Younger daughter Tiffany now resides in West Palm Beach with her husband, Michael Boulos, while her half-brother Eric and his wife, Lara, own a home in Jupiter just a few minutes’ drive from Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle.
It remains to be seen which — if any — of Trump’s children will relocate back to Washington, DC, when he returns to the White House.
During his first presidency, Ivanka and Kushner moved into a home in the upscale neighbourhood of Kalorama Heights while working in his administration.
However, they have both made clear they have no plans to be a part of his Cabinet this time around.
With Guilfoyle lined up for a role as ambassador to Greece, Trump’s other children will likely take on more prominent positions working alongside him.
