It seems Christina Haack has a new partner to replace her estranged husband, Josh Hall, on her show.

In a new promo for HGTV’s “The Flip Off”, the reality TV star faces off against her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.

The showdown features a new character. Haack is standing next to an unidentified man, who isn’t mentioned in the caption or tagged in the post.

Fans of the series might recognise Haack’s mystery teammate as her contractor, Michael Lange.

It’s unclear if the handy man could be Haack’s new partner for the whole season or just making a cameo in one episode.

The TV personality was originally supposed to compete on “The Flip Off” with Hall, who filed for divorce in July after less than three years of marriage. Since the break-up, he’s been erased from all the show’s promos.

HGTV recently teased the mother-of-three will be “on her own” in the series after Hall’s departure, but will turn to her “trusted team” for help.

Earlier this month, Haack and Lange had fans talking after she gushed over him being a “good” man via her Instagram Stories, People reports.

“There are still good men left,” she captioned the post in which she also tagged him.

“One of them right here single-handedly hoisted this 11 foot tree into my home. Appreciate you.”

The snapshot featured Lange underneath her Christmas tree as he secured its placement inside her home.

Two days later, the pair were pictured cozying up while shopping for plants, according to Page Six.

“Putting in the work!” the “Christina on the Coast” star captioned the snapshot, which she shared on her Instagram Story, with Lange’s arm around her waist.

He also reposted the image and wrote that he was “shopping with the queen of @hgtv.”

Haack recently put her $US4.5 million ($A6.9 million) Tennessee farmhouse back on the market, just weeks after Hall attempted to have a court block her from selling it.

The 41-year-old TV star first listed the property back in October — only to take it off the market three weeks later when it was revealed that Hall, 44, had filed a temporary emergency order to try to halt the sale of the home, which is known as Parker Branch.

In the order, Hall — who was living in the Franklin, Tennessee, house when it was listed — claimed the property was put up for sale without his consent, despite him offering Haack a global settlement, which she turned down.

Although Haack bought the home before she and Josh were married, he claimed in legal documents that the “paydown of the mortgage during marriage” entitled him to a say in what happened to the property.

According to Realtor, the six-bedroom abode is back on the market, with the same asking price of $4.5 million — and listed with the same agent, Haack’s good friend, Kelly Dougherty.

The home at the centre of this latest legal tussle between the estranged spouses, which they had been leasing to short-term rental clients, certainly has plenty of amenities to “enjoy,” including a pool, hot tub, screened porch, and wood-burning fireplace.

The 483 sqm home on 23.82 acres is once again described as a “fabulous modern farmhouse” in its listing.
