Chris Noth lists longtime New York apartment for $2.1m after 30 years

Sex and the City star Chris Noth is moving on from his longtime New York City apartment, listing the luxe Greenwich Village dwelling for nearly $US1.5 million ($A2.1 million). Noth, 71, who famously starred as Mr. Big in the hit HBO series, is bidding farewell to the one-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom abode more than three decades after purchasing it in 1994. The actor has put the property on the market for $US1.495 million ($A2 million), having previously offered the residence as a rental multiple times during his ownership, Realtor reports. Described in its listing, which is held by Daniel Davis of Corcoran SoHo, as offering “breathtaking pre-war grandeur,” the apartment boasts soaring ceilings, hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace, and an array of original architectural details. “Discover breathtaking pre-war grandeur in this spacious one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom co-op featuring exceptional architectural detail and a wood-burning fireplace in one of Greenwich Village’s most admired full-service buildings,” the listing states.
