The prize includes luxury properties worth a total of $12m
It’s the ultimate investor dream — an instant $12 million property portfolio spanning three states and generating more than $320,000 a year in rent — and it could be yours for just $5.
Dream Home Art Union’s unprecedented East Coast Triple draw is giving one Aussie the chance the bypass the brutal housing market entirely and win a fully furnished, multistate real estate empire overnight.
The staggering prize includes a $4.1m absolute beachfront apartment in Bilinga on the Gold Coast, a $2.25m Sydney pad in ritzy Potts Point overlooking the Opera House, and a $3.7m designer coastal home in Mount Martha on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula complete with a lap pool.

And to offset the potential logistic headache of managing three interstate properties, the charity lottery is throwing in $1m in gold bullion, $616,151 in designer furniture and appliances, and an $8,000 travel voucher.
They are even covering all rates, water, and body corporate fees for the first year.
“Building a property portfolio in Australia is incredibly challenging in today’s housing market but with our East Coast Triple, one winner will instantly own three luxury properties and $1m in gold which is something that is out of reach for many,” Dream Home Art Union lotteries general manager Ben Sawkins said.
Mr Sawkins said the draw broke from traditional promotions, where the winner generally has the chance to take the house or the cash.
“No other charity home lottery in Australia is offering anything like this,” he said.
“Most prize homes give you a ‘win this or that’ option. There is no choice to make with this draw, you win it all.”

The overnight landlord will have the ultimate freedom to decide their financial future with an estimated long-term rental return of more than $322,000 per year.
“Together, the homes could generate … more than three times the average Australian wage, giving the winner an immediate income and property portfolio, especially at a time when high interest rates and affordability are limiting investor activity,” Mr Sawkins said.
He added the $1m in gold bullion was specifically included to give the winner “breathing room” to make those life-changing decisions without pressure.
Every ticket sold directly funds RSL Queensland, which last year helped house 227 veterans and their families, secured 267 jobs, and provided thousands of mental health and rehabilitation sessions.
Entries close at 8pm AEST on April 29 and the winner will be drawn on May 6.
