Star couple Buddy and Jesinta Franklin are still searching for a buyer for their luxe villa, after the home passed in at auction.

The Franklins were keeping the negotiations close to their chest for the seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom property in Reedy Creek.

They’d bought the home for $8.75 million in 2022, but decided to sell Villa Casa to create a dream farm lifestyle instead.

Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin and his fashion influencer wife Jesinta bought this home two years ago for $8.75m.

Villa Casa is being sold by Amir Mian and Justin Haynes of Amir Prestige Group’s Mermaid Beach branch.

Amir Prestige Group Mermaid Beach declined to comment on progress of the sale at this time.

The agents listed the home as “Mediterranean perfection”, with five ensuite bedrooms in the main residence alone.

Marble detailing lines the entire home, littered with arches across its wide open-floor plan that opens up to a view of the distant Brisbane CBD.

Before the former AFL player and 2010s Miss Universe Australia bought the property, it was created by Ben Rochford and Dominee Gessner of Tidal Constructions, who lived in the home they had built before the record-breaking sale.

Having had a history of renovating and constructing homes, Ms Gessner told Home Beautiful Villa Casa was “the opportunity to execute all the elements I’d always wanted in a home”.

Meanwhile, Mr and Ms Franklin told Channel 7’s The Morning Show they are considering where they want to pack up and move to next.

“We’re actually thinking of selling up and buying a farm now,” Ms Franklin said.
