The owner of a construction company who looks for “half-done” houses to keep his crew busy in leaner months has locked in a $275,000 lift in value on a Grovedale house in just five months.
The house was part demolished inside when it sold for $475,000 in March.
Buxton agent Nick Allison said the vendor accepted a $750,000 offer this week for the three-bedroom house at 78 Burdoo Drive after barely a week on the market.

The vendors of 79 Balliang St tell Nicole Mayne in gt today how they stripped back layers of paint and plaster to reveal gorgeous hidden treasures like a period brick chimney that had been covered up for decades.
