You can buy anything online these days, and now savvy shoppers have been blown away by a house they’ve found on Amazon for under $30k.

Shipped and sold by a manufacturer named OneSpaceHub, bargain house hunters can order this nearly 2,200kg parcel — made with stainless steel and aluminium — for just over $28,000 (US$19k) — and will take about a month to be delivered.

Described as ‘easy to assemble’. the mini homes can be set up or relocated with ‘minimal effort’ according to the seller.

And it could provide a relief for those priced out of the conventional housing market, which is in crisis as a people-led inquiry calls for governments to abolish investor tax concessions and rental market reform.

Complete with their own rooftop deck, a compact yet functional kitchen and a bathroom, the homes are designed for comfort and laid-back living.

But if those aren’t your cup of tea, the seller also has a single-story prefab build without a roof terrace asks $24,500 (US$16,570), and another with two levels and a roof deck that is priced from $72,000 (US$48,500).

Built with eco-friendly materials, it’s all a durable option that’s easy to set up and relocate.

As housing prices continue to soar, the Great Australian dream of homeownership can feel increasingly out of reach for many.

While this might not be a long-term option, these properties provide something for those who crave the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort, and that are affordable.

The rooftop deck gives this compact dwelling a luxury feel, and a space to enjoy privacy while outdoors.

Inside, buyers will find everything they need, including a living area that doubles as a bedroom, and a bathroom.

Storage is designed to maximise every space, ensuring owners can live comfortably even in tight quarters.

These pint-sized properties, which can be placed almost anywhere, are becoming a popular alternative, especially in areas where zoning laws have been updated to allow for accessory dwelling units (ADUs).

The trend isn’t just about cutting costs — it’s also about embracing a simpler, more sustainable way of living.

The tiny house market is expected to grow significantly, with projections suggesting it could reach nearly $28 billion by 2031.

But the appeal of Amazon’s tiny house extends beyond its eco-friendly design and affordable price tag.

Its customisable features allow buyers to tailor the home to their specific needs, making it a flexible option whether you’re looking for a full-time residence, a vacation spot or an accessory space for guests.

Right now it appears to be unavailable to be shipped to Australia, but that could be set to change.
