It’s the start of a new era for Olympic champion Ariarne Titmus with massive changes underway days after her family returned from a successful Paris campaign.
The Titmus family made up of Channel 7 newsreader Stephen Titmus, wife Robyn, Ariarne and sister Mia had been juggling multiple tasks during the 2024 Paris games, including supporting the Australian swimming campaign, open homes for the sale of their beloved custom-built Brisbane home, plus renting out their Gold Coast apartment.

Now just days after returning from Europe they’re face-to-face with the reality of their Chelmer home finally no longer being theirs – after it fetched $2.41million in a deal sealed in the same week as the family celebrated parents Steve and Robyn’s 28th wedding anniversary.

“For 28 years Queen Robyn has put up with me and says she wants to go again. She is a powerhouse of a best friend, soul mate and wife. When on a good thing stick to it.”
“We have done so much and time has flown. Raised two incredible young women, seen much of the world and made the simple moments in life extra special. Can’t wait to see what the future brings.”

The home and pool was custom built for the Titmus family.
Real estate agent Ann-Karyn Fraser of Place New Farm had the property listed for sale and was in charge of all buyer enquiries throughout the Olympic period.
“It was such a privilege to be able to market this beautiful property for the Titmus family,” she said.
“It sold to a southern family who are moving to Brisbane for work opportunities.”
Ms Fraser said “it is such a highly sought after suburb, given its location to the CBD and river, design and the fact that it is newly custom build.”

A southern family moving to Brisbane for work will now enjoy the home that raised an Olympic champion.
The home was designed to create multiple spaces for families to relax in.
“The property was incredibly popular with families looking to be in the school catchment area of Indooroopilly state high, moments from St Peter’s, the school that Ariarne attended, and great local primary schools.”
The Olympic champ already owns an apartment in Queensland’s most expensive suburb Teneriffe where her parents could bunk if they need a place to crash in Brisbane, but they also have an apartment on the Gold Coast which they rented out during the Paris games.
